I was recently shopping for car insurance on nationwide.com.I entered all my info and was given a quote.
I tried to purchase that policy and they would not allow me to view the paperwork before giving my account info for payment.
I have been a victim of ID theft in the past so I am very cautious about giving my personal account information without seeing any paperwork first. So I call customer service. The rep I spoke with didn't even answer my question but proceeded to tell me I cannot put these two cars on one policy because they are titled to two different people...me and my husband. We have these two cars on the same policy now!
He completely ignored my question and said he is going to split the policy without even asking if this is something I want to do.When I told him I will continue to look elsewhere he simply said "ok"...Nationwide, that is not how you gain customers!
