I called Nationwide on 10/28/15 to notify them that I was not going to renew my auto policy due 11/01/15 because I had put van in storage for the Indiana winter. I then got several notices that I owed $22.50 and I discovered I was being charged for the one week grace period on a policy I no longer wanted or needed.

No, Indiana does not require PLPD on a vehicle not being operated on public roads. When I discussed this with a Nationwide ASSociate, she said that was their policy, they were reporting it to the credit bureaus and she had no supervisor I could talk to.Despite acknowledging that I called to notify them I was not renewing the policy she refused to remove the charge. I told her I would never use Nationwide again and was reporting them to the the FTC and several Indiana agencies. Apparently, "Nationwide is only on their own Side".

They will spend millions on advertisements to get your business only to drive you off over $22.50 that they have no right to bill you for.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Location: Mishawaka, Indiana
